DESERT MOON DANCERS.
Desert Moon Dancers are a Belly Dance Fusion group. We like to embrace the energy of other cultures from around the world and fuse them with the traditional movements of middle eastern dance. We dance the sacred feminine essence of ancient wisdoms, to bring joy, healing, oneness and empowerment.
UMBRA Theatrical Gothic belly dance is another aspect of DMD. Here we dance the shadow aspects of the self and life. We embrace the darker aspects of belly dance. It is individual in its expression and personal in its meaning for dancers. It is a place to release, heal, strengthen, inspire and grow…a place of magick, mystery, ritual, sisterhood, shadows and truth.
Dani Graczyk ~ Director/Choreographer/Creatrix of DMD has been dancing and teaching for a decade. Her greatest joy is in sharing this sacred art form and continually learning new ways of expressing dance.
Classes are available for ladies and young girls.
Performances can be tailored to suit any event.
