 Hi
Today I thought I would let you know some more about NLP and let you know about what is called "The Pillars of NLP" 1. Rapport - the quality of your relationships
When you have rapport with another person that gives you the ability to respond well with them and to have and gain trust. We can get into rapport with another person by starting to understand how they view the world, we call this "their map of reality" Rapport can be instant or it can take time it will depend on each person as we are all different. When you start to get into deep rapport with another person you can start to work with them to get the changes they want in their life. 2. Outcome - knowing what you want When you are fully clear about what you want to achieve and you create a compelling goal around that achievement you have more chance of reaching it. Whenever we interact with people or situations it is important that we know what our outcome is, this allows you to act in a way that helps you to achieve your goal To achieve a goal you need to consider Where you are now - where you want to be - plan how you are going to get their 3. Flexibility If you keep doing things in the same way you get the same results, we need to be flexible in how we approach a situation, as this will give you a better chance of success. The person who always wins in a negotiation is the one who is most flexible. Do you find you keep missing your goals, if you do ask yourself what have I done differently? 4. You - your emotions and skill level The success you want to achieve will depend on how resourceful you are, the more congruent you are with yourself the higher chance of success you will achieve. You will become fully congruent when your beliefs, values, actions and words are fully congruent with the goal you want to achieve. If you set yourself goals and you do not achieve them it is because they are congruent with these areas. If you would like some help with setting goals that you find compelling and that rsonate with your core being, let me know and I will help you to set goals that you want to achieve martin@nlpforyou.co.uk Regards Martin
