About 8 years ago my step mother said to me, "I am my stuff. I am my money." What she was saying is that without her 'stuff' she'd be nothing. She was worthless. Are we our money? Does it really provide what it is that we desire? Power, prestige, lots of stuff, freedom? Or is it just paper or coinage and our thoughts about it give it perceived value and some mystical power? The thought that keeps running through my mind is... "It's not about money. None of it is about money. Money is only one form of exchange."
A young man said to me the other day 'I'd prefer "humane" profit, but hey, profit gives me the ability to behave humanely." Does it take profit to behave humanely? Or are our thoughts the deciding factor in all things ultimately? “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.” ~Buddha
In the video interview below Bryon Katie says to her student, "Turn it around. Say that again using the word thought instead of money (profit)."
So turning the young man's statement around, "I'd prefer 'humane' thought, but hey, thought gives me the ability to behave humanely." At the core - it is our thoughts that create our world. Personally and globally. Not money.
Seems we always see greener pastures elsewhere. Putting things outside of ourselves. I hear friends saying, "I'd be happier if only I had.... (fill in the blank)." Most often when the elusive 'happy maker' is obtained, the happiness gained is fleeting. Then we're back to our old selves again, searching for the next 'happy maker' to fulfill our desires.
Many of us put much of ourselves and our time into thinking about money... getting more, keeping it, spending it, not having enough, having none. 'Loving money' or 'hating money'. Both fall into the same category since we are expending self for it. "Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless." ~Ecclesiastes 5:10
What would happen if we put as much thought and time into 'What can be done for the greater good? For the Earth, society, community, family... Creator.' "Full of love for all things in the world, practicing virtue, in order to benefit others, this person alone is happy." ~Buddha
Or self... wholing (balancing/healing/loving) self. “You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.”~Buddha
Miracles. True Happiness. Peace. More?
What wonderful things can you imagine?

This week I've had a series of thoughts and concepts present for a revisit. A friend mentioned Tolle's book 'A New Earth' and said I might want to watch the review at Oprah.com. While there I surfed around a bit and came upon Dr. Wayne Dyer on Oprah's Soul Series. Then one day on Twitter Paulo Coelho tweeted the quote below so I visited his blog. All week I've been pondering the concepts of ego, personality, pain body and now. And working with present moment. It has been an interesting week. Thought I'd share with you some of my outer and inner workings.
So I begin... When asked who are you? We often reply with a series of socially acceptable identifiers like, "I am 'name', I work for 'employer', I live in 'town', I am 'relationship status'." Are we that? A name? A job? A town? A relationship?
No of course not. These are identifiers.... name, job, location, relationship. They are current points in time which can change. We get married/divorced, move, change our name and jobs all the time these days. But if we aren't these... what are we?
We also say, 'I am a 'man or woman', 'I'm 'age','I'm 'sexual preference' . We look in the mirror and see ourselves. We think, "That's me." But we can alter our body too. Change hair color, lose or gain weight, have plastic surgery and not look the same at all. We can even change our sex. If we make any or all of these changes are we still the same? We look different. No one may recognize us. But are we still the same?
We describe ourselves as, "I'm 'outgoing or introverted or other'. I'm a 'habit (smoker, drinker, etc.)'. I'm 'emotional state (happy, sad, thankful, etc.)'. " And other descriptive phases which talk about our emotional state or ego/personality. Are we how we feel or even what we think?
Dr. Wayne Dyer gives this collection of ideas about ego... "We are not our ego. When we see ourselves and the world from these ideas we are 'Edging God Out' (EGO). We are already connected to all... have all, we just need to align and surrender. Become empty."
"Oh Krishna, The stillness of divine union which you describe is beyond my comprehension. How can the mind, which is so restless, attain lasting peace? " ~Bhagavad Gita
If not egoic thought, who are we? What is at the core? How can we know who we are? Where do we begin?
"Not as I will, but as thou wilt." ~2 Corinthians 3:4,5
"We need to forget what we think we are, so that we can really become what we are." ~ Paulo Coelho
So 'I will' is akin to ego. Forget or surrender 'I will' or 'what we think we are'. Give up beliefs about self which come from ego or personality. The concept is clear enough but how? "Be still, and know that I am God." ~Psalms 46:10
"True self essence comes out of stillness. Your innermost sense of self, of who you are, is inseparable from stillness. This is the I Am that is deeper than name and form.
To meet everything and everyone through stillness instead of mental noise is the greatest gift you can offer to the universe. I call it stillness, but it is a jewel with many facets: that stillness is also joy, and it is love." ~Eckhart Tolle
'Be still'. In the stillness we begin to understand 'what we are'. But we have a life to live, things to accomplish. How can we become still or empty and have a life? "Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment." ~Buddha
"Realize deeply that the present moment is all you ever have. Make the Now the primary focus of your life." ~Eckhart Tolle
Life can only be experienced Now. Not in past or future. Aligning self with the present moment aligns self with Life (God). But then how do we know our purpose? What we are to do? "At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want." ~Lao Tzu
Being is focusing self on something other then brain grinding or mindless doing. It is Life. Breathe. Follow the breath. Still self inward by following stillness into through and around a flower, tree, plant. Becoming that stillness, quiet, peace. It enlivens. Follow it into the body, feel the buzz, hum or vibration of Life within you. Feel the Peace. Stillness. Joy. Bliss. Then you are fully present... NOW. The fullness of Life can truly only be experienced now... end.
The photo above of the glorious rose was taken by my beloved friend Light who made his transition. Now he works in Spirit.
Hope you enjoyed my pondering.

Father Thomas Keating talks about God's dynamic nature and the Divine Oneness of 'All That Is' in this wonderful inspirational video. He is wise, speaks from the heart and is sure to bring a smile. He says this about Oneness... "We're (human beings) moving into Oneness. In other words a Oneness that we already have but at various levels of our being; and hence we're aware of the Oneness in different ways, and in different intensities, and in different levels and able to respond as our awareness of this presence keeps evolving. The presence keeps expanding and becoming more penetrating, more enveloping, more involved with each of our bodily, mental, physical and spiritual activities or capacities. So we're always experiencing this Oneness, but when does it become that, which is described as there being 'No other'? This is something that maybe we could talk about tomorrow after a good nights sleep.
That's really very advanced and has few (as far as we know about it from reports) people who actually experience it as a permanent state of awareness or consciousness. Who have become not only 'the Other', but are 'the Other' in a way. Now this doesn't in anyway deny the distinction between God and us which is infinite. It does deny the separation..."
Hope you enjoy watching the video and listening to his wisdom as much as I did. ~Bonnee Video of Father Keating.

The Void is emptiness, and stillness and nothingness, quiet and nonexistence. Nothing exists within the Void.” Tanya asks, “Does that include Thought?” He answers, “No.” Tanya asks, “So Thought does exist within the Void” He replies, “Thought encompasses the Void.” Tanya asks, “Does it interpenetrate the Void, is it within the Void?” He replies, “The Void interpenetrates Thought. It’s impossible to separate the two, they are distinct and yet… One. They are so One that it is impossible to see, for the human mind… to see how One can be two, or two can be One in this particular instance. They interpenetrate one another so completely… that it just is. That they are. And they appear as One. There is a difference between Void and Thought. And yet Thought can take the appearance of Void, of emptiness and can take the appearance of All That Is, of Creation. Both. And the Void interpenetrates all Creation as well, so it is impossible to separate them. Wherever there is Light, which is Creation there is also Darklight, which is the Void. So there are the two, just as there are the two within the Void itself. But Light is not Thought, light is vibration. Does that make sense? Darklight is not vibration. But the two coexist. Darklight interpenetrates Light, so Darklight interpenetrates vibration. Thought is not vibration; Thought is something else. Tanya asks, “Yes, let me see if I’ve got this right. Light is not Thought; it is vibration. Darklight is neither Thought or vibration is that accurate?” He says, “Correct.” Tanya asks, “But it interpenetrates, anywhere there is Creation/Light there is also Darklight.” He replies, “That is correct. And there is also Darklight in the Void, because the Void is Darklight, emptiness, and nonexistence. So the Void exists in Creation. It interpenetrates Creation. The two are separate and yet there is a Void space where there is no Light or vibration. So Creation and the Void from that standpoint are separate, but the Void interpenetrates Creation. The Void was the beginning, before there was vibration, Light, Creation, Heaven, and Earth. And it takes the combination of the two the Darklight or Void and Thought to begin the Creation process. It was the coming together of Darklight and Thought, the decision if you will, to do something other that created light/vibration. And that is what created the polarities, the dualities, the worlds, that was the beginning…and from there it expanded. Does this make sense?” Tanya says, “Yes it does.”
He continues, “One is not greater then the other, they exist within each other. You see? The ‘masculine is better then’, or ‘feminine is better then’, is a human concept. There is nothing that is better then anything else. All are equal, and all are Loved, because all are Creation. And we are speaking of the Creation, not the Parents of Creation. Parents while it is an accurate concept, there might be better ways of saying it then parents, but we will use parents for that. Parents are Void and Thought. Yes?” Tanya asks, “Yes. Are you saying all are loved by Void and Thought? Christenya and the most Holy of Holies?” He says, “Yes, all are Loved by the Parents.
There can’t be one without the other, there is always both, even in androgyny there is both. And one is never greater then the other. That is the nature of this Creation. Darkness isn’t bad, feminine isn’t bad, negative isn’t bad.” Tanya says, “It’s the other polarity.” He says, “That’s correct. Just like, masculine isn’t good, light isn’t good, it just is, it just exists. The good/bad concept is erroneous; it is not one that can be applied in this situation. Also good/bad is a human construct because the human mind has had to put things in boxes and create moral stances around things. It’s just been part of the process of coming back.” Tanya says, “Yes, thank you for the elaboration.” He says, “You’re welcome.”

Lord Metatron says, “All things work through love with a combination of Soul. Soul is the spark of God… the essence of God. Soul is Mind and more. And Soul works through Higher Mind with the Law of Love. It is the combination of the two that cause Creation in this Universe.”
Bonnee says: “Lord Metatron, when you speak of Soul you are speaking of the essence of that which comes from the most Holy of Holies.” He replies, “Yes, that which permeates everything which has become individualized… that which carries the memory of All That Is, and the individual experiences of each particular lifetime as well. So each is different from that aspect and yet all are One. Soul is the intelligence, but more… intelligence can be misconstrued because intelligence has many different meanings in your languaging. And when we speak of Mind we don’t speak of brain. It is not the same thing. It is the Higher Mind. I guess Mind is a better word then intelligence, or Thought, but Thought is actually more accurate then Mind. Because there is a working that is done which is more akin to Thought then mind. You see? But it is coming to the awareness of the balance between the two; between the utilization of Mind/Thought and Love… Mind/Thought being in its purest form without corruption if you will. Corruption comes from the experiences in each lifetime and from those around who one sees as teachers, influencers would be a better word, including parents, and friends, and all.”
Tanya says, “Thank you Lord Metatron.” He replies, “Your welcome.” Tanya says, “I have a question about the relationship between you and Christenya, Lord Metatron.” He says, “Yes.” Tanya says, “You are the Creator of this Universe which operates on the Law of Love and Christenya’s sphere is the Void and Darklight.” He says, “Yes.” Tanya continues, “My question is whether that encompasses this Universe as well as others” He replies, “All.” Tanya says, “Then I have a question about the most Holy of Holies and Christenya is she part of that?” He answers, “The Void, the Womb, the Nurturer, the Birther. She would be Shakti and the most Holy of Holies would be Shiva and they dance together. They are One creating All. Does that make sense?” Tanya says, “Yes it does.”
Lord Metatron asked Bonnee to research the Creation stories in several different religions. This is what she found along with Lord Metatron’s commentary.
From Hindu Vedic Hymns, ‘In the beginning, Hiranyagarbha (golden womb) floated around in water in the emptiness and the darkness of the non-existence… then broke into two halves which formed the Swarga (heaven) and the Prithvi (earth).’
In the beginning, there was nothing… Void. The most Holy of Holies is the Golden Womb (Thought) and the Goddess of Darklight, Christenya is the water, emptiness and darkness of non-existance (Void). They broke into two halves (Light/positive/yang and Darkness/negative/yin) which formed Heaven and Earth (form). The teachings call the most Holy of Holies, Shiva the Supreme Godhead, Lord of ultimate reality and the Goddess of Darklight, Shakti the Ultimate Feminine Power inherent in all Creation (Divine Mother).
From the Taoist Creation story, ‘In the beginning is Wuji, or Tao – an undifferentiated Unity, beyond vibration.’ ‘Tao is the nameless Void. Tao is considered by Laozi (great master) to be that which eternally gives without being depleted, and eternally receives without being filled. That which does not exist for its own sake is able to endure. The Tao is the ultimate force behind the Creation. With tao, nothingness gave rise to existence, existence gave rise to yin and yang, and yin and yang gave rise to everything’
In the beginning, there was nothing… Void… Wuji. Only the Unity (Oneness) of Void and Undifferentiated Potential (Thought) existed. Christenya (Void) and the most Holy of Holies ‘Undifferentiated Potential (Thought)’ combined are Wuji. The Wuji gave rise to (set in motion/Created) Yin (negative/Darkness) and Yang (positive/Light) or Taiji - Ultimate Perfection (Creation); which then gave rise to (Created) form (Heaven and Earth).
In Christianity the Bible begins Genesis 1:1-4, ‘In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and Void: and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be Light; and there was Light And God saw the light, that it was good: and God dived the light from the darkness.’
In the beginning, there was nothing… Void. Darkness was upon the face of the deep’ is the state of the Void itself, it is Christenya essence. The most Holy of Holies (Spirit of God/Thought) moved (vibrated) upon the waters… Goddess of Darklight (Void)… and spoke ‘Let there be Light’ and Light was. Light was the first Creation. And God divided the Light (positive/yang) from the Darkness (negative/yin) and then Created form… Heaven and Earth.

Soul is fully conscious (aware) and non-conditional (absolute, without imperfection). Co-creation happens through Soul (as Thought) utilizing a polarity of sorts. Thought… not as in the physical brain mental functioning: but rather Thought through Mind (Buddhist: ‘diamantine mind’ or ‘clear-light mind’) and beyond. Mind in this reference is also Higher Mind (an ethereal energy field that brings knowledge and information of a higher source). Soul works through ‘Mind’. There is a doing by Soul during creation that resembles thought (intention or perfect intention) and is never unconscious (without awareness).
We become true co-creators when we are fully conscious. What that means is have the complete awareness of ‘Who We Truly Are’… as Soul, with full knowing of ‘All That Is’… 'Being in this world but not of it' also called 'Enlightenment' (knowledge of Universal Truths and the ability to live them; realization of the ‘I AM’ within, resulting in perfect harmonious function). Enlightenment is not way beyond our reach it is opening to the awareness of 'All That Is' (including inner and outer worlds) and as a result becoming peaceful, harmonious and unconditionally loving.
There truly is no time... all is NOW. So co-creatorship occurs in the Now.‘Linear time’ is a construct of our collective consciousness, is what we chose to experience during our earthly incarnations... but it is changing to ‘Now’ as we ALL begin to become aware... conscious... enlightened. In co-creation, there is an understanding of polarity (possessing of negative (yin) and positive (yang) poles), which is utilized. Polarity is not the same as duality. The polarity utilized by Soul is the harmony and interpenetration of Light (vibration, matter, yang) and Darklight (void, dark matter (makes up 90% of the Universe), yin). One cannot exist without the other.
When one is unconsciousness (without awareness), there is a duality (being twofold, usually contradictory; in disagreement) of thought functioning. The brain not knowing or believing itself a Soul and unlimited… believes it is limited and proves that to itself by trying on various societal constructs. It believes itself to be limited by the beliefs of the group it aligns itself with… and so creates limitation for itself. A limitless Soul in a vehicle that believes itself limited… this is duality… a twofold contradiction; in disagreement. As long as there is this disagreement there cannot be Higher-level creation while in a physical body.
So the duality of Soul in an unconscious (walking dead, without awareness) vehicle creates unconsciously. And brings to itself all manor of things, relationships and experiences which trigger emotions, thoughts and wonderings to help itself remember. And as it begins to remember the experiences, relationships and things change to show it that it is a creator. But it still limits itself saying, “I AM this but not that”… this is separation. Until brain comes to the realization of Oneness of ‘All That Is’, which is the integration of Soul (knowing) within body… and brain no longer limits itself in any way… there cannot be true co-creation.
In italic I have defined words from various dictionaries (including Oxford American Dictionary, The Donning International Encyclopedic Psychic Dictionary and http://dictionary.reference.com/) for the sake of clarity.

Creatorship comes from Soul not from the polarities. It comes from the Oneness of Soul. The knowingness of Oneness… rather then separation. Rather then seeing self as male and other as female or the other way around. It is the knowingness that you are One with all that is. The polarities will still exist; the polarities are part of Creation. So co-creatorship comes from Soul… not from polarity. Comes from the Oneness, the knowingness of Oneness of Soul.
Both are necessary in order to create. So what we are looking at is trinity. God is Soul. The other two arms of the trinity are the polarities darklight and light. You need the 3 in order to create. It’s the Soul that actually creates utilizing the polarities. We are all One, there is One stream of consciousness. I am not different than you. This is crux of the co-creatorship... actually what you are co-creating. It is co-creatorship of Soul and Creation. So because you are a creator you have the ability to manipulate Creation. And Creation by its nature is polarized. It has both light and darklight. So what you do is take the stuff of Creation and breathe life into it so to speak. The stuff of Creation is again polarity… Light being vibration or matter if you will and Darklight being Void space. So if you understand what you are doing, then you have the ability to bring the two together… to substance… to create what it is that you desire. And when you bring this together it becomes ensouled. When you have the knowing, the ability to be a true co-creator… that is what a true co-creator is, having the ability to bring light and darklight together into the form that you desire it to be and containing Soul. So it is your creation… is ensouled... whether it be a stone, a tree, a money system, a house it matters not. When you create at that level your creation has Soul.
So from that standpoint it is not about transcending duality (polarity). The concept of duality…Man as God is not duality at all in my understanding. Man is one type of vehicle for Soul (God) to experience within. Like a car vs. a van or a boat vs. a plane… a vehicle only. Man or physical body is a tent, a sacred temple or a vehicle for Soul to dwell within to experience Creation for a limited time. The combination of the two… is Hu-man or God (Soul) within Man.... without Soul (God), Man would simply be a husk or empty car without a driver. Both are necessary and sacred within this Creation.
The duality to be transcended is more a conceptualization. A misperception such as thinking of self as less then or limited by... so it is ultimately self imposed.

This is my first blog so I’ll introduce myself, I am Bonnee Klein Gilligan also know by my Spiritual name Adonea. I love to laugh. Enjoy writing about the things, which impact me most… like consciousness, food, love, life and our beautiful world. I delight in expressing what I sense… through art bringing it to life in color and line. And the sensual pleasures of food, don’t get me started… love all aspects, cooking, presentation and the joys of eating. I’m passionate too about Reiki, personal growth, enlightenment and things of a Spiritual Nature.
I plan to talk of many of my spiritual ponderings including Reiki Ryoho, personal empowerment, channeling and other things of a Spiritual nature. In addition to being a writer I am also a Reiki Master Teacher. I travel internationally and teach all levels of Reiki Ryoho, but specialize in training or re-training masters. Reiki Ryoho is a method which relaxes and wholes you. It spiritualizes the body and allows more of who you truly are to permeate. As a result one comes to balance and heals on all levels. Reiki Ryoho Pages by Adonea explains this energy science and is a resource for all level practitioners and those new to Reiki. I have been a teaching master since 1994 and am known in the Reiki community by my spiritual name Adonea. I'm also an esoteric artist. My medium is pastel. I specialize in esoteric spiritual portraiture and drawings of the angels, masters and beings that quietly guide us in our daily lives. I've put up a few photos of my art in my Esoteric Spiritual Art photo album. You can see the whole collection at Bonnee’s Creative Spiritual Works. Most of my work is done by commission. Original work or Giclee prints are also available.
I also write a funny Green Living Blog, which is the continuing story of a woman who is awakening to a greener consciousness and life. Each one addresses a problem faced in daily life with an eco-friendly solution. It takes a lighthearted look at the issue of global warming and what we as individuals can do to lessen our carbon footprint and impact.
From time to time I may also include in my blogging a tasting exploration of a favorite restaurant in Sedona/Verde Valley and Northern Arizona with a favorite recipe too. I write a column called Bonnee’s Food Corner, which is published at Sedona.biz. Recently Carl Jackson, editor of Sedona.biz did a video interview of me about my Food Corner and Reiki Ryoho. Watch it if you like.
